Lorenzo Insigne - NapoliThe agent of Napoli striker Lorenzo Insigne has spoken publicly to deny rumours of a rift between his client and current coach Rafael Benitez.

There had been talk of disagreements between the pair with Insigne yet to really confirm himself as a definite starter but Fabio Andreotti has quickly dismissed these suggestions.

He told TMW: “There has been no trouble and I categorically deny any poor attitude or unhappiness from the boy.

“He is a player who is concentrating only on improving and getting better and better and he always does what the coach asks of him. All Lorenzo is missing is a little experience but that will come from playing at the top level.”

When it comes to whether or not he will reclaim a place in the starting XI against Juventus on Sunday night, Andreotti remained tight-lipped.

“Obviously only Benitez knows if Insigne will start in Turin,” he stated. “It would seem so but the final choice is that of the coach because he did leave him and Hamsik and Behrami out for the Champions League game to save them for this one.”
