The agent of Inter striker Ishak Belfodil has claimed that he has heard  nothing concerning a possible loan move for his client in the January transfer window.

This comes after speculation suggested that the Nerazzurri were looking to temporarily transfer Belfodil in January in order to free up space in the squad to bring in a more physically powerful forward.

However, agent George Atangana rubbished claims that he has already been in discussions with other clubs interested in his client in comments made to Le Buteur.

“I can say there has not been any meeting with Inter officials to talk about Belfodil,” said Atangana.

“Nobody from Inter has called me about it.”

Despite announcing that a loan move has not been arranged, Atangana did not rule out the possibility of his 21-year-old client leaving on a temporary basis if a suitable offer does come in.

“If they do decide to let him go, we will discuss it with them,” said Atangana.

“However, I believe that the player will remain with Inter unit the end of the season.”
