Amid reported interest from Italian champions Juventus, Kevin De Bruyne’s agent Patrick De Koster has dampened speculation regarding a move to the peninsula for the Chelsea attacking-midfielder.

The 22-year-old Belgian international has only featured six times for the Blues this season following last campaign’s successful loan stint at Werder Bremen, and he is rumoured to be seeking a move away from Stamford Bridge in search of more playing time ahead of next summer’s World Cup in Brazil.

“The player has a contract until 2017, it will be Chelsea who will make the final decision on his future,” De Koster told TuttoJuve.

“We have a good relationship with them, and I’m sure we’ll find the best possible solution for the player, we’ll see what happens in January.

“Italy? Personally, I’m not sure that would be the best solution but it will be up to Kevin [De Bruyne] who to play for after Chelsea have made their eventual decision.

“Juve? I was contacted by agents who told me that they worked for Juventus, but officially, nobody from the club has had any direct contact with me, so actually I can’t confirm that they are even interested in the player.”

Chelsea signed De Bruyne from Genk for around €8.4 million in January 2012, but he only made his official debut for the club 18 months later in their opening Premier League fixture of the 2013/14 season against Hull.
