Inter and Chelsea have reached an agreement over the transfer of Fredy Guarin, with Nerazzurri owner Erick Thohir’s go ahead the only thing needed for the deal to be completed.

The Colombian was one of the Milan club’s best performers on Sunday during their 4-2 defeat to Napoli on Sunday, but it appears as though his time at the club could be coming to an end.

Sky Sport report that the 27-year-old’s agent has landed in Italy and is scheduled to meet with Thohir, who will soon be in Milan, later this week over a potential move to Stamford Bridge.

It is being reported that the two clubs have a deal in place for anywhere between €15-18 million for the former Porto player as it is believed the Nerazzurri are looking to raise funds before reinvesting them in the January transfer window.

With Guarin heading for the exit doors it is believed the Italian giants will look to sign Cagliari’s Radja Nainggolan and Paris Saint-Germain’s Ezequiel Lavezzi as reinforcements once the window opens.

Guarin has played in all 16 of the Nerazzurri’s Serie A matches this season while scoring three goals.
