Former AC Milan star Clarence Seedorf will reportedly become the Rossoneri’s new coach at the end of the season.

The 37-year-old, who is currently playing for Brazilian club Botafogo, has been linked with the position along with former Rossoneri star Filippo Inzaghi as current coach Massimiliano Allegri is likely to depart at the end of the campaign.

Sky Sport 24 reports that the Dutchman has won the race and is set to become the next Rossoneri coach at the end of the season.

The report states that Seedorf met with owner Silvio Berlusconi in Rome over the past few days where a pre-agreement was reached by the two sides.

He will likely be joined by Verona sporting director Sean Sogliano who will take up the same position with the Milan club, though vice-president Adriano Galliani will still be in charge of the club’s dealings in the transfer market.

Seedorf played for Milan from 2002 to 2012, scoring 62 goals in 462 appearances for the Rossoneri during that time.
