Martin Caceres - JuventusNapoli and Roma are both believed to have made enquiries about the availability of Juventus defender Martin Caceres.

The 26-year-old Uruguay international has made just two Serie A appearances so far this season and is rumoured to be looking for a January transfer to secure more playing time ahead of the World Cup.

“Roma, Napoli and other big clubs asked about Caceres,” confirmed agent Daniel Fonseca in Tuttosport.

“However, Martin is in love with Juventus and wants to remain in Turin.

“Of course I expected him to play more, because he is a very strong defender, but it’s only normal at a big club like Juve to have a large squad full of quality.”

The former Villarreal, Barcelona and Sevilla defender joined Juve on a permanent basis in 2012 following two separate loan spells.
