Juventus are looking to lay the groundwork for a possible move for Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandzukic at the end of the season.

Mandzukic is likely to find himself sidelined in Bavaria this summer if Bayern Munich complete their long anticipated move for Polish international striker Robert Lewandowski as Pep Guardiola favours playing a lone striker to lead the line.

Giuseppe Marotta has reportedly been given the go ahead to move for the Croatian international by Andrea Agnelli and they are believed to be prepared to pay a fee in the region of €20 and €25 million to secure his services according to TuttoSport.

The Bayern Munich forward has been in fine goal scoring form this season in Germany finding the net 12 times in his 20 appearances this term.
