Roma defender Maicon has admitted that the club must start winning again if they want to retake the top spot on the Serie A table.
The Giallorossi started the season with a record breaking 10 straight wins, but have now drawn in their last four matches after their 1-1 result against Atalanta on Sunday and are currently in second place, three points behind Juventus.
“After 10 consecutive victories, it was only normal that a little fatigue would creep in, above all because most of us are internationals and make long journeys,” the Brazilian international told Roma channel.
“Having said that, we cannot keep dropping points the way we have done recently, especially on home turf.”
Maicon has made 11 appearances for the Giallorossi in the Serie A after his summer move from Manchester City.
