Marseille have set a €10-12 million asking price on French attacking midfielder and Napoli target Mathieu Valbuena.
Marseille’s financial problems are well documented and the French giants could well miss out on Champions League football next season as they currently sit sixth in Ligue 1, 11 points away from a qualifying spot.
French magazine Le10sport.com report that the French club would be willing to part with the midfielder as early as this January, adding that Marseille could accept a bid of €10-12m for the influential player.
The 29-year-old French international has been a regular starter for Marseille this season, with only one substitute appearance out of the 25 he has made for the club. The Frenchman has scored one goal and provided three assists this season.
