Javi Garcia Manchester CityNapoli are reportedly considering making a move for Manchester City midfielder Javi Garcia this winter.

The 26-year-old hasn’t been able to find much space in the Citizens’ starting line up under manager Manuel Pellegrini, and as a result he could be looking to leavethe club in the near future if the right deal comes along.

According to Il Mattino, Napoli could make a proposal for the Spaniard during the January transfer window as they look to further strengthen their midfield for the second half of the season.

Garcia joined Manchester City from Portuguese side Benfica for a fee of around €19 million in 2012 and has scored two goals in his 36 Premier League appearances for the club thus far.

The midfielder has made two appearances with Spain’s senior national team and has previously had much success with the country’s youth teams from the Under-16 squad up to the Under-21 squad.
