Daniel Agger LiverpoolNapoli are set to return to Liverpool again as they look to strengthen their defence by looking to take Daniel Agger on loan until May.

The Partenopei already have goalkeeper Pepe Reina on loan until the end of the season from the Reds although Rafael Cabral has started more of late.

The Daily Mail are reporting that Napoli, who have kept just one clean sheet in their last six games, would like to take him on loan until the end of the campaign as they look to add depth and quality for their Europa League campaign too.

However, the Danish star did claim a few weeks ago that he does want to stay at Anfield and fight for the starting spot that he is no longer guaranteed.

Agger, 29, has made seven starts for the Reds in the Permier League this season as they have continued to rise up the table.

First off Sir, please have the decency to check your spelling as it’s “are” not “our” as you have so misguidedly written in your slandering comment. Taking a player on loan, especially from a team a that is probably 3-5 years away from having ANY SIGNIFICANT IMPACT in the UCL competition is not a bad thing. Napoli will give Agger a shot at playing meaningful football and will give him the opportunity to compete for a Europa League title and a possible Scudetto, unlike your beloved Reds who will likely finish behind their Goodison Park rivals and out of a UCL spot come May… and oh yes, Forza Napoli – Sempre e Ovunque!

Otello your league is crap. Your team is crap. And the Italians are the most corrupt in world football. Liverpool are 10 times the size of rubbish old Napoli. And if Liverpool asked Benitez to come back he would get the next flight available. Napoli is so crap even your own players live in other areas of Italy and travel to training. The Premier league is 10 times better and harder than your rubbish league. And you can’t even afford our players so all you can offer is a loan. Well I hope you choke on your pasta tonight.

  4. Rinit says:

Liverpool are and will always be a much bigger club than Napoli. Otello you are deluded. Your team along with ever Italian team are corrupt. Even your players don’t like in Napoli they travel to training from other parts of Italy. And if we click our fingers Benitez would come back in a flash. Why don’t you go and choke on your pasta.

  5. Well Rinit/Ren (who are probably one and the same), firstly, trolling a website with the name FORZAITALIANFOOTBALL.COM is your first problem, since, you know the name alone suggests one’s desire to read about Italian-related soccer items (i.e. Serie A: the greatest league in the world; FIGC who have yes, count them **** 4 STARS**** above our glorious and brave hearts) . Essentially, you are trolling about a league you know nothing about. Secondly, your racist comments about pasta are lame at best, because, you know, I could turn around and say what do you choke on your smelly curry or your colourful turban but I will refrain from such conduct.
Regardless of what Benitez does (and for the record he loves and adores Napoli, the team, its players and the wonderful city that it is!) if that is your justification for all things RED and SCOUSE then I truly pity you. My original comments never took any personal swipes at Liverpool nor did I use any suggestively racist language I was just pointing out the misguided and incorrect opinion of the original poster.
Lastly, Napoli are the second or third highest spending team in the Serie A this season and to show for it have a roster than embarrasses the lonely reds when compared side-to-side: Gonzalo Higuain, Marek Hamsik, Mertens, Callejon, Napoli born and bred Lorenzo Insigne and the list goes on and on… Please don’t counter by saying Suarez as he will be leaving for greener pastures come 2014. Once again, Forza Napoli – Sempre e Ovunque!

Otello u r a moron. LfC is 2nd in the league what made u think tat any1 would leave. LfC lacks defender, any injuries in CD would put LFC in a tight spot if they loan out DA.
Ren LFC is not 10 times better than Napoli, it is so much more than that, it is beyond comparison 😉
