Infront Sports and Media agency and the Italian Serie A have finally reach an agreement on their TV rights.
The new agreement will see the agency continue to manage the domestic and international media rights from the 2015/16 until the end of the 2018 season.
According to Il Sole 24 Ore, the new deal will guarantee Serie A €980 million per season.
It is also thought the deal includes a clause that automatically will extend the agreement for additional three seasons, until 2020/21, should Infront will achieve sales of €1.04 billion annually in the first three-years.
The previous agreement between Serie A and the agency, signed in 2009, was set to expire at the end of the 2015/16 season.
Serie A’s current TV rights were sold by Infront for an estimated €850m in 2011.
