Juventus have not made an offer for Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul according to the player’s agent, Kamil Cira.
The Netherlands international has turned in a string of impressive performances for the Magpies this season in the Premier League helping his side to sixth position and has been linked with a move to the Bianconeri as a replacement for Gianluigi Buffon.
“At the moment, we can’t say anything, Juventus have made no official offers,” said Cira, speaking to Tuttojuve.com.
“Tim Krul is very happy at Newcastle and talking about a transfer is nonsense.”
The 25-year-old is battling with Ajax’s Jasper Cillessen, Swansea’s Michel Vorm and Fulham’s Maarten Stekelenburg for a place in the Netherlands World Cup squad and will be keen to continue playing first team football until the end of the season.
