- I am a 21-year-old Bulgarian who has been living in the United States for the past eight years. A huge football fan, currently I am attending George Mason University with the aspiration to one day write about the sport and teams I love. My love for Italian football, or football in general, was sparked during Euro 2000. I cried after the final and the name David Trezeguet has been taboo in my house ever since. AS Roma is my favorite football team and a loss - especially by Lazio, especially in a Coppa Italia final - could ruin my day. Totti is my favorite player and a role model of type. Outside of Italy, I am most knowledgeable about the Premier League, with Newcastle United being another love of mine. Other favorite teams/players include Francesco Toldo, Danielle De Rossi, Levski Sofia, Bayern Munich, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Garreth Bale, James Milner, L.A. Galaxy and Landon Donovan.
