Torino are reportedly interested in making a move for AC Milan midfielder Antonio Nocerino.

The Granata are looking to bring in the 28-year-old in an exchange deal for one of their defenders, who is expected to move during the winter transfer market.

According to Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Torino are looking to possibly swap Nocerino for defender Danilo D’Ambrosio, who looks increasingly likely to join Milan by the end of the January transfer window.

As per the veteran journalist, Nocerino could be key in serving as a make-weight for D’Ambrosio’s transfer to the Rossoneri.

Nocerino, who signed with his current side on the last day of the summer transfer period in 2011 for a reported fee of €500,000 from Palermo, started off his first season brightly, netting 10 league goals–the highest of his career so far.

However, the Italian international has seen his stock decline as of late, as he has only made a handful of appearances for Massimiliano Allegri’s side this season, with just a smattering of actual starts.
