Chievo are looking to make a move for Parma left-back Djamel Mesbah and are set to battle it out with Fulham for his signature.
The 29-year-old former AC Milan defender has found playing time hard to come by this season for the Serie A side and a possible move away may interest him.
According to reports from Sportmediaset, the Algeria international is looking for more playing time and Chievo and Fulham have reportedly made offers to bring in the Parma left-back.
It is understood that Chievo have offered winger Marcelo Estigarribia in exchange for Mesbah but it is believed that Fulham’s offer of cash only is what the Ducali are after.
Mesbah, who has played in Italy since 2008, has only managed to play 10 matches scoring one goal during his stay at the Gialloblù since his transfer from Milan in 2013.
