Everton are reportedly interested in landing young Nigerian midfielder Ogenyi Onazi from Lazio.
The 21 year-old Nigerian is reportedly the English club’s top target in the January transfer market.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Everton have submitted a bid to the Biancocelesti, but president Claudio Lotito has made it clear that he will not accept a bid for less than €9 million.
Onazi has made a total of 24 appearances for the Biancocelesti. He has featured in 16 Serie A matches to go along with six Europa League.
He has also made 18 appearances for the Nigerian national team while scoring on one occasion.
