Roma defender Nicolas Burdisso has emerged as a target for Roberto Mancini’s Galatasaray.

Burdisso, 32, has already confirmed that he will be leaving the Giallorossi during this transfer window as he is desperate to secure regular football in order to make the Argentina World Cup squad.

Leggo has reported that Galatasary are the latest team to track the Argentina international, a move that would see Burdisso reunited with his former Inter coach Roberto Mancini.

The Argentinian has also recently been linked with the likes of Valencia, Olympiakos and San Lorenzo from abroad and in the meantime he has opted against moves to fellow Serie A sides Genoa and Parma.

Since joining Roma from rivals Inter in 2009 Burdisso has gone on to make 100 league appearances for the Capital side, however during this season he has only managed a total of five games in Serie A.
