Torino defender Danilo D’Ambrosio is on the verge of completing a surprise move to Inter.

The full-back is expected to be the first signing under the heirarchy of new owner Erick Thohir.

According to TuttoSport, Inter will pay €2 million in addition to midfielder Gabi Mudingayi while 19-year-old Patrick Olsen could also move to Turin as part of the package.

Meanwhile, Wallace will return to Chelsea and Alvaro Pereira is tipped to join Olympique Marseille on loan until the end of the 2013-14 campaign.

Sportmediaset.it reports that Olsen was earlier promised to Panathinaikos by the Nerazzuri, so there could be a potential blockhead in the deal, but Inter’s resolution to sign D’Ambrosio is expected to provide a breakthrough as talks come to a close.
