Inter are looking into making a move for Valencia midfielder Ever Banega as a possible replacement for Fredy Guarin, who looks likely to leave the club this transfer window.

Colombia international Guarin, 28, has heavily been linked with a move away from the San Siro side with Manchester United looking like an ever more likely destination and Inter have been studying potential replacements for the player.

A report on gazzetta.it revealed the interest from the Nerazzuri in the Valencia man who has been linked with a move to both AC Milan and Napoli in the past.

Banega joined Valencia for €20 million from Boca Juniors in January 2008 and spent the following season on loan at Atletico Madrid before firmly establishing himself at the Mestalla and has gone on to make in excess of 150 appearances in all competitions for the side.
