Juventus have set Tottenham’s Erik Lamela as their main transfer target and are prepared to use Mirko Vucinic as part of a deal in a bid to secure the signing.
Lamela, 21, has struggled to adapt to life in the Premier League since his €30 million move from Roma in the summer, and is already looking to make a return to Italy whereas Vucinic, 30, would be happy to move to the London club as he has fallen down the pecking order at the Bianconeri.
La Gazzetta dello Sport has reported that initial talks have been ongoing over the past few days between Giuseppe Marotta and Franco Baldini and that groundwork has been set for a potential move to unfold in the coming days.
If the deal for Lamela were to fall through, Juventus are looking at a low cost alternative in Paris Saint-Germain’s want-away Jeremy Menez.

Lamela is a fantastic player, just because Spurs a mess and can’t sort the club out properly (I am a supporter by the way), doesnt mean we should give up an awesome player for a crap one.
