Juventus striker Fabio Quagliarella is unlikely to join Lazio during the January transfer window.

The Bianconeri ace has been linked with a move away from the Stadio Olimpico, with reports suggesting Juve would only sell the Naples born striker for €7 million.

Rumours have concentrated on interest from Lazio for the forward but sporting director Igli Tare has played down any further talk in an interview reported by tuttojuve.com

“Quagliarella to Lazio? No no, I can confirm that he will not be arriving, 100%.”

The 30-year-old striker, who joined Juventus in 2010 from Napoli, looks set to stay with the current champions until the end of the season.

He has netted 23 times from 80 appearances for Juve, while making 25 senior appearances for the Azzurri.
