English Championship side Leeds United are reportedly scouring Italy for attacking reinforcements, with Pescara striker Ferdinando Sforzini the latest name under consideration.

The trail to Hellas Verona’s Daniele Caccia has blown hot and cold, so the Elland Road club, which was recently the subject of a takeover bid from Cagliari President Massimo Cellino, have now sounded out the Delfini over a move for 29-year-old forward Sforzini.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Sardi director of sport Nicola Salerno is speaking to the Biancazzurri about the possibility of acquiring the former Sassuolo attacker, with the idea being to buy the player, then send him directly to the North of England to join up with the Peacocks.

Sforzini is somewhat of a journeyman, and started his career at Sassuolo in 2003, being transferred to Udinese after displaying good form in Emilia Romagna.

He never actually played for the Bianconeri however, and had loan spells at Verona, Modena, Vicenza, Ravenna, Avellino, Bari, CFR Cluj and Grosseto over the next six terms.

Following his permanent switch to Grosetto, he had two solid seasons, scoring 30 goals in 58 appearances for the side, and subsequently earned a move to Pescara in January 2013, however he has only featured 14 times for the club this calendar year, and has thus far failed to score.

I am a hard core Leeds United fan since 1960s so what can you talk about this Mr. Cellino? I never judge anybody beforehand so give me a some kind of lightening here?
