English giants Liverpool are being linked with a move for Lazio’s Italian international midfielder Antonio Candreva.
The 26 year old is co-owned with Udinese and it is believed Lazio president Claudio Lotito is set to spend €9 million to purchase the player outright in the summer.
Il Corriere della Sera reports that Liverpool could make a move for the Italian winger as Reds manager Brendan Rodgers believes the Lazio player would be a good alternative on the wing.
Candreva has made 19 appearances for Lazio in the Serie A this campaign netting four goals and will be looking to keep up his form in order to earn a place in Cesare Prandelli’s World Cup squad in Brazil.
