AC Milan could seek to replace Mario Balotelli with Manchester City forward Edin Dzeko should the Italian leave.

Recent reports suggest the agent of Balotelli met to discuss a January move to Galatasaray yet talks remain speculative.

According to Corriere dello Sport the Rossoneri could look to bring in Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko as a replacement.

The 27 year-old has grown tired of his lack of playing time in England with both Sergio Aguero and now Alvaro Negredo ahead in the pecking order.

Dzeko has been linked with il Diavolo in the past and was even seen sporting his own Milan jersey during his time at Wolfsburg.

Club vice-president Adriano Galliani has categorically refused to sell Balotelli despite the striker’s poor form and attitude.

Similarly Manchester City coach Manuel Pellegrini plans to keep hold of Dzeko with the injury to the aforementioned Aguero.

Dzeko has made over 120 appearances in England scoring 50 goals.

Just one thing AC Milan are lacking and that’s the financial ability to make it attractive enough for City to sell him . Most Italian clubs want to only loan players as they don’t have the means to sign the top players. As for Dzeko having limited chances that is down to one person only. Dzeko.

Milan have got more chance of signing me than they have of getting Dzeko, and I’m 69.
