Manchester United make offer for Juventus midfielder

Arturo Vidal Claudio Marchisio juventusCurrent English Premier league champions Manchester United have reportedly made an offer for Juventus’ midfield man Claudio Marchisio.

The Red Devils are keen to strengthen their midfield after a very disappointing start to their season, which has seen them fall 11 points behind league leaders Arsenal.

Forza Italian Football has learned that the Manchester giants made an offer of around €25 million for the 27-year-old, who has appeared on 13 occasiona in Serie A for the Bianconeri this season.

United also enquired about the availability of French starlet Paul Pogba, who signed for Juve from the English side, but that request was flatly refused.

Marchisio, a current Italian international, has found his place in the Juventus starting eleven under threat with the emergence of Pogba, thus with the impending World Cup in Brazil, he may well favour the chance of regular football elsewhere.

Yet another midfielder from juventus and why would united bid for pogba when he didn’t want to be at united not united not want pogba.me as a united fan have written this whole season off simple, we won’t make any signings and we won’t be in the champions league but that doesn’t mean that we are gone. We will be back in 2015 a whole new team hopefully and we will repeat the clubs amazing history.long live united

  3. Desmond says:

Moyes is a wrong man to manage man utd

  4. KayDee says:

@Manfan and Desmond… You guys must be very young glory Hunter fans. … How can you decide that Moyes is not the right man already? … and that nonsense of age. .. who had David signed that is old? How old was Van Persie when we signed him? Berbatov? Owen? when we bid for Sniejder? Don’t just blurt out rubbish without facts. ..
You’re the kind of guys who used to call for Sir Alex to be fired when he started and went 4 years without a trophy. .. Get real. .. useless fans.

Marchisio would be an exeptional signing until summer
In my opinion anyone would be better than clverly

  6. Tim says:

Are these United fans commenting serious? Marchisio is 27. On what planet is that old? Name one central midfielder you have that is better than Claudio? As a Juve fan I’m a huge admirer of the kid but Pogba offers more at the moment. $25mil should be enough to buy Griezmann or Mata. I would reluctantly say pull the trigger, Marotta.

If it took alex Ferguson 4 it will take moyes 10 years. man united has a good side they need to get rid of moyes b 4 he buys any cunt

Moyes needs time, and as fans we need to have patience and stand by him and the club during difficult times. Sir Alex did an exceptional job with the squad he had, any other manager would suffer if he had the same squad. Its fine even if Moyes doesn’t sign anyone now. We dont need to do panic buy. Summer is the right time to invest. As far as Marchisio is concerned, I would love to see him at United. The right time to buy a central midfielder is between 25-28, because they will be at peak and can offer 7-8 years for the club easily. He woould be a good signing but I don’t see it happening. Juve won’t sell him :(

  9. Rocketto says:

Valuable player, good both in defense and attack, technique, pace and shot, positive attitude on field, dependable off the field, I think he would fit well to PL.

  10. kayinda says:

lets give moyes time to do wat eva he feels coz he using sekeleten players whoeven cant hold da ball 4 5 sec, let him bring in his player bat later after failing dat guy will b out of utd
