Perin – Genoa

The agent of Genoa’s goalkeeper Mattia Perin has expressed his client would be ideal for AC Milan.

Perin’s representative revealed the shot stopper would remain with the Grifoni until the end of the season, amid speculation he will be leaving next season, whilst it is known Milan are currently eyeing a new goalkeeper for next term.

“Certainly until the end of the season, Genoa want to reinforce, so Preziosi and Gasperini will not give away a goalkeeper like Mattia this January,” his agent Matteo Roggi told Radio Mana Sport.

“And football is strange because you can never rule anything out. If a team comes in and puts an offer on the table, there do not exist non-transferable players.

“But then again, Perin has the heart and will remain with the Rossoblu until at least June.

“Milan? They must reinvigorate themselves, and I think that Perin is ideal for his human and technical qualities.

“From here he could become the new Milan goalkeeper, but the road is long.

“So far there has been nothing, not even a call of interest.”

The 21-year-old Italian has been in fine form of late, forcing legendary Azzurri goalkeeper Dino Zoff claim Perin to be the heir of Gianluigi Buffon.
