Napoli sporting director Riccardo Bigon is confident of closing the deal to bring Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Etienne Capoue to Naples.
Franco Baldini, Tottenham’s Technical Director, has arrived in Milan whilst the player’s agent, Mino Raiola, is also expected to arrive in Italy within the coming days.
Il Mattino reports that the Partenopei will offer €10 million plus add-ons for the French international.
Spurs reportedly want closer to €15 million, but it is thought that they may be ready to lower these demands with the defensive-midfielder seemingly surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane.
The 25-year-old is hopeful of joining Napoli and will be offered a three year contract if a deal can be agreed with Tottenham.
Capoue has appeared only eight times for Spurs since his €11 million move from Toulouse last summer.
