Paul-Georges Ntep is one step closer to signing for Roma after the giallorossi reportedly agreed on a fee to be paid to his current club, Auxerre.

The 21-year-old attacker has been making a name for himself in France following some stand-out performances for Auxerre and the France Under 21 side.

The Franco-Cameroonian born winger is set to make the move, due to a specific agreement forged between the two clubs.

Roma is set to pay the French outfit €500,000 immediately and conclude the deal by paying a further €3 million in June according to Sky Sport Italia, which is when he will depart for Italy.

The youngster claimed last week that he wouldn’t have any hesitations in joining the capital club.

“It is an honour to be linked with Roma,” the forward told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“If I got a call, I wouldn’t think twice.”

His international future is yet to be resolved with neither Cameroon or France yet to call up the forward to their senior side.
