Inter president Erick Thohir has revealed that his club will return to market dealings on Monday.

The Indonesian businessman, who was present at the San Siro for the Nerazzurri’s goalless draw against Catania on Sunday, is yet to make any noteworthy moves during the January transfer window and has been criticised for his attempted swap of Fredy Guarin to Juventus for Mirko Vucinic, which he ended up calling off.

Thohir spoke to Mediaset before Sunday’s match and conceded that Inter will be holding meetings to evaluate the market in the coming days.

“Right now I’m here for the team,” said the 43-year-old. “There will be meetings in the club to evaluate the market on Monday.

“My state of mind? In life there are always ups and downs.”

Inter have only won once in their past eight Serie A matches and currently sit in fifth place on the Serie A table with 33 points thus far.
