Franco-BaldiniTottenham Hotspur director Franco Baldini is set to fly to Italy to negotiate transfers with Juventus, Inter and Napoli.

It is believed Juventus forward Mirko Vucinic and Inter midfielder Fredy Guarin are two players of interest to the London club.

Tuttosport reports that both players are seeking moves away from their current clubs after a swap deal fell through between Juventus and Inter last week.

Inter are keen to offload Colombian Guarin and could be purchased for around €10 million, while Montenegrin Vucinic has been linked with several clubs during the transfer window.

Baldini could also enter negotiations with Napoli to offload out of favor French midfielder Etienne Capoue who has failed to impress during his first season in the Premier League which has been hampered by injury.

Napoli, however, could be put of by the €12 million price tag and may look for a cheaper alternative.

“The problem is not the player or Napoli – Tottenham just want a lot of money,” Capoue’s representative, Martha Fischer told reporters.

“What they’re asking for is absurd. But we are only on January 21, and there is still hope.”
