Etienne CapoueTottenham Hotspur reportedly want Napoli to include forward Goran Pandev in any deal which would see Etienne Capoue move to Italy.

While it is thought that Napoli had offered €6.5 million to secure the midfielder’s signature, Spurs are said to be keen on a swap deal to bolster their own attacking options.

According to Il Mattino, coach Rafael Benitez and sporting director Riccardo Bigon met to discuss the offer and, with the club desperate to strengthen their midfield, both parties were said to be open to sanctioning the deal.

Despite only arriving from Toulouse in August last year, indifferent form and injuries have limited Capoue to just eight Premier League appearances so far this season and Spurs seem happy to allow the 25-year-old to leave the club.

However, having paid €11m for the player last summer, they will be looking to recoup as much of their outlay as possible
