AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli has admitted that he misses the fans of his former club Manchester City.
The 23-year-old, who recently made headlines due to his crying on the Milan bench after being subbed off in their 3-1 loss to Napoli, has been visibly struggling with the Rossoneri lately and admits that he misses playing for the Citizens.
Balotelli spoke to FourFourTwo and reflected on his time and England, but conceded that he still loves being with the Diavolo.
“I’m bad? I wish I was more,” said the Italian international.
“I miss the fans in England. Instead, I don’t miss the food, or the time or matter of driving, but the City fans, yes, I miss them.
“Though the AC Milan fans are just as fantastic. Most of my memories of Manchester are happy because I enjoyed my time there.
“It wasn’t a trauma to relocate to England and there’s a big difference between these two clubs.”
