AC Milan will reportedly continue their pursuit of Real Madrid defender Fabio Coentrao in hopes of signing him at the end of the season.
The Rossoneri had already tried submitting an offer for the 25-year-old during the January transfer window, but the Spanish club’s coach Carlo Ancelotti had insisted on keeping the player, though an agreement could be made come June.
According to Tuttosport, Real Madrid are seemingly ready to release the Portuguese international at the end of the current campaign and the Serie A side might be looking to secure the player on loan with the option to permanently sign him later on.
Reports also suggest that AC Milan are already preparing a bid for the defender, who has an estimated market worth of around €10 million, as Diavolo boss Clarence Seedorf has apparently expressed his interest in landing the full-back.
Fabio Coentrao only has four league appearances for Los Blancos this season thus far.
