Atletico Madrid striker Costa: AC Milan is a great team

Diego Costa - Atletico Madrid striker has admitted that he believes is a great club ahead of his team’s match with the Italian side on Wednesday.

The Rojiblancos will be heading to the on Wednesday to take on the Rossoneri in the first leg Champions League round of 16 match between the two sides and the 25-year-old has revealed that he’s excited to play in Italy.

Costa spoke to Mundo Deportivo about Wednesday’s match and praised Milan, while also commenting on the talents of Diavolo striker .

“Balotelli? He’s a great player, one of the best in the world,” said the Brazilian. “He plays like me? I don’t know, I don’t think so.

“AC Milan is a great team with great tradition and they know how to play certain games like this one.

“In order to secure a positive result we must play the whole match with the right mindset. I’ve never played at the San Siro, so I’m excited.

“We are also a great team and we know how important this match is for the club. We have the right team to do something great.”
