Bologna coach Davide Ballardini believes that his side put in a good performance during their 1-0 loss to AC Milan and has mixed emotions following the game.

Mario Balotelli scored a wonder goal with just four minutes of the game left to steal all three points for the Rossoneri following a spirited defensive effort from Bologna.

“Bologna have had a very good game, especially in the second half,” admitted Ballardini to Sky Sport Italia.

“We had a couple of chances and gave Milan almost nothing.

“The Rossoneri have great players who can win the game at any time.

“I’m very angry, but the attitude of the team gives me peace of mind.”

Following the result Bologna remain in 16th place with 21 points, four points clear of the relegation zone.
