Recently dumped Inter director Marco Branca could make a shock move to Chelsea.
The Italian’s role in recent transfer frustrations for Inter, including the recent potential swap featuring Fredy Guarin and Mirko Vucinic, drew the ire of the club’s supporters, and new president Erik Thohir terminated his contract last week.
Tuttosport report that Branca could make a surprise move to England, and specifically Chelsea, where he enjoys an excellent relationship with Blues coach Jose Mourinho and his agent.
Sporting director Piero Ausilio will handle Branca’s job following the change in the short term while Thohir searches for a replacement.
