Andrea Ranocchia Inter have announced that defender will not be joining the Turkish club this month as the two sides failed to negotiate an agreement.

With the transfer window in Turkey still open until Monday, there were reports linking the centre-back with a move to the Turkish giants but it now appears as though the 25-year-old is staying put in Milan.

“We have not reached an agreement with Ranocchia,” Galatasaray president toldĀ Ntvspor.net.

Ranocchia has not featured for the Nerazzurri over their past three league outings and it has lead to growing speculation that he will be leaving the club in the near future.

The Italian, who signed with Inter in 2011 from Genoa, has made more than 70 appearances since then.
