Rudi Garcia - RomaRoma coach Rudi Garcia rued his team’s missed chances and wished Napoli luck in the Coppa Italia final against Fiorentina.

The Partenopei thrashed the Giallorossi 3-0 on Wednesday with goals from Jose Callejon, Gonzalo Higuain, and Jorginho.

“We had some clear scoring chances in the first half when the match was 0-0. Instead they took their first opportunity,” said Garcia in his press conference.

“We were very bad to start the second half and need to improve in the future.

“Perhaps we missed out on qualification in the first leg because we conceded two goals after going up 2-0. There are more regrets from the first leg than from the second.

“Congratulations to Napoli and good luck in the final.”

Garcia also spoke about Roma’s upcoming match against Sampdoria.

“We have to do everything to beat Sampdoria on Sunday,” he continued.

“I don’t think that three matches this close together will have an effect on my team as we were brilliant tonight, especially in the first half.”
