Udinese boss Francesco Guidolin warned his players against complacency ahead of Sunday’s game with Atalanta at Stadio Friuli.

The Zebrette are unbeaten in the last three games in Serie A and find themselves in the 13th position but the 58-year-old cleared that his team are still not out of trouble.

“We must stay alert and mature and approach these games in the right way,” Guidolin told the press.

“The squad at the moment is in good health and is doing well.”

Udinese are 12 points from the Europa League qualification and the experienced coach was asked if his team can reach the 6th spot of the table.

“Two more points in Genoa would have been useful to get us further away from danger but we didn’t get them,” he continued.

“Now we need to try and get them from somewhere else”.
