Napoli forward Gonzalo Higuain has expressed his delight after seeing his side mount a comeback against Roma to reach the final of the Coppa Italia.
Goals from Jose Callejon, Higuain and Jorginho gave the Partenopei a 3-0 victory, and 5-3 aggregate win, as they set up a tantalising final with Serie A rivals Fiorentina at the Stadio Olimpico.
“We’re very happy, it was a fantastic night, a great game against an excellent team,” the 26-year-old told Rai Sport.
“Napoli did everything well, we scored when we needed to, and I’m glad to have reached the final in what is my first year in Naples.
“Today the defence played very well, we worked hard, and this is a fantastic stadium. I’m here to help the team.”
