Nemanja Vidic Manchester UnitedInter are close to completing deals for Manchester United defenders Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra, according to reports.

Both players are out of contract in the summer, with Vidic already confirming his intention to leave Old Trafford earlier this month.

Speculation has been mounting that the Serbian is all set to join Inter in the summer, but now British tabloid the Daily Star reports that his teammate Patrice Evra will follow him to the San Siro.

The newspaper also suggests that David Moyes will look to replace the French international with Southampton’s 18-year-old left-back Luke Shaw after top target Leighton Baines elected to stay with Everton.

Meanwhile, Vidic’s agent has confirmed that the 32-year-old expects to agree on a move to the Nerazzurri within days.

“I think we’re just missing a few details,” he said, speaking to Tuttointernazionale. “It should be sorted in the next few days.

“Inter is one of the biggest clubs in the world, its history is comparable to Manchester United and Barcelona.”
