Juventus are closing in on agreeing new contracts with midfielders Andrea Pirlo and Paul Pogba.

The two players have been in talks with director Beppe Marotta regarding an extension for some time and it appears that both are close to completion.

Tuttosport report that Pirlo’s extension is a signature away, the two parties reportedly agreeing to a two year extension that would see the veteran earn €4 million a year until June 2016.

However, talks with Paul Pogba are set to continue for a while longer before a similar announcement for the Frenchman can be made.

Tuttosport continue to report that while Pogba is happy to sign a deal tying him to Turin until at least 2017, his entourage wish to insert a release or buy-out clause should the midfielder wish to depart Italy.

Pogba’s salary is also expected to match the top earners at Juventus like Gianluigi Buffon, Arturo Vidal and Andrea Pirlo.
