Inter striker Diego Milito has revealed that he hopes to finish out his career with the Nerazzurri.

The 34-year-old, who has been with the Biscione since joining from Genoa for a fee of around €28 million in 2009, has been enjoying his time in Milan since his arrival despite a number of injury struggles in recent seasons and admits that he’d like to remain with the club until he decides to retire.

Milito spoke to Bein Sport about his future and thanked former coach Jose Mourinho for bringing him to Inter five years ago.

“I can not thank Mourinho enough for bringing me to Inter,” said the Argentine forward, who won a treble with the Italian team during his debut season with them.

“I hope to finish my career here.”

Diego Milito has a total of 64 goals in his 120 Serie A appearance since his arrival at Inter, with two goals coming in his nine appearances for the club this season thus far.
