Palermo striker Abel Hernandez has stated that he dreams about a move to English Premier League side Newcastle United.

The 23 year old Uruguayan has been a star performer for Palermo in Serie B this season, and spoke about a wide range of issues in a recent interview including how he has matured this season and what his goals for the future are.

“My life has changed this season, my mom and dad helped me a lot,” Hernandez told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“The Palermo nightlife? The past is gone, now I go to church with mom.

“I decided to stay at Palermo this season, as I owed it to [Maurizio] Zamparini and the fans.

“I dream of Newcastle, Real [Madrid] or Atletico [Madrid] in the future.”

Hernandez has hit top form this campaign and has netted 12 goals so far for the Rosanero.
