Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade has given his verdict on his clubs 2-1 defeat at the hands of Inter.
Prade believes that the final result wasn’t a true reflection of the game, he has also commented on the adverse effects injuries are having on La Viola’s season.
“The final result of 2-1 is not right, Inter played a great first half in which they earned their lead,” he told Mediaset.
“But in the second half we drew level and developed our football. Inter are a strong team, but so are Fiorentina.”
Prade went on to talk about the return of German striker Mario Gomez.
“Gomez has recovered and that will be one more weapon until the end of the season,” he stated.
“We look forward, unfortunately injuries are making a difference.”
Gomez’ substitute appearance against Inter was his first game in a Fiorentina shirt since September 15, 2013.
