Quagliarella cut from Juventus Europa League squad

Juventus has released their 23 man squad to take part in the Europa League and the big surprise is that Fabio Quagliarella has been omitted from the squad and new loan signing Dani Osvaldo has taken his place.

The Bianconeri face a run in the Europa League after finishing third in their Champions League group and they begin with a home tie against Turkish side Trabzonspor on 20 February before travelling to Turkey for the return leg a week later.

Here is the squad list in full:

Goalkeepers: Gianluigi Buffon, Rubinho, Marco Storari

Defenders: Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci, Martin Caceres, Girogio Chiellini, Angelo Ogbonna, Federico Peluso

Midfielders: Kwadwo Asamoah, Mauricio Isla, Stephen Lichtsteiner, Claudio Marchisio, Simone Padoin, Simone Pepe, Andrea Pirlo, Paul Pogba, Arturo Vidal

Forwards: Sebastian Giovinco, Fernando Llorente, Dani Osvaldo, Carlos Tevez, Mirko Vucinic

I am sure that QUAQLIARELLA is very disappointed,I feel sorry for this player,who always gave his 100% to the team,I’am regarding this last two years, is when JUVENTUS could win one least game.Iam proud to say I been following JUVENTUS last 60 years.From top to down in JUVENTUS running the club some don’t go well with QUAQLIARELLA.I wish u all the best for the future,in my opion u still agreat player that u have been left out of the squad.
