Real Madrid are reportedly looking to land AC Milan captain Riccardo Montolivo in exchange for young midfielder Casemiro at the end of the season.

The Rossoneri have been monitoring the 22-year-old Brazilian in recent months and could be interested in signing him this summer as coach Clarence Seedorf has apparently grown fond of his talents, but it seems Los Blancos wouldn’t be ready to let him go easily.

According to Fichajes.net, Real Madrid would only be willing to swap Casemiro for crucial Diavolo midfielder Riccardo Montolivo, though a transfer for the 29-year-old seems highly unlikely in the near future.

The Italian international, who was named captain of AC Milan after the departure of Massimo Ambrosini last June, has become a key player in the Rossoneri squad since his arrival from Fiorentina in 2012 and has scored six goals in his 49 Serie A appearances, with two of those goals coming in his 19 league appearances this season thus far.

Sounds like a bad move. Milan would be better off getting rid of Balotelli than Montolivo. I also think persisting with Saponara and Cristante would be better than getting Casemiro.
