Roma captain Francesco Totti feels that the Giallorossi are having a wonderful season as they look to keep pace with Serie A leaders Juventus.
Er Pupone, who is currently out with a muscular injury, has enjoyed a successful season in the capital which has seen Roma perform strongly, currently sitting second in the Serie A standings.
“Roma are having a great season and we have a lot still to play for,” Totti expressed through his official website.
“We are a team who really believe.
“The support of the fans has been fantastic and we have become accustomed to the great support.”
Totti also reflects on the partial stadium closure at the Stadio Olimpico after discriminatory chanting towards Napoli fans.
“Playing with empty curvas was a not the same, it was a strange sensation observing from the stands on Sunday night.
“I hope that until the end of the season the fans will not affect the possibility of staying near the top of the table”
