AC Milan have reportedly asked Mario Balotelli to leave his agent Mino Raiola.

The controversial Italian agent represents many high-profile clients including Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Marek Hamsik and Paul Pogba amongst others.

According to Tuttosport, the Rossoneri have made it clear to the 23-year-old that they do not approve of Raiola and want Balotelli to cease being represented by the agent entirely.

It is believed that Barbara Berlusconi included a promise to challenge powerful agents in her manifesto during the boardroom reshuffle at Milan during November 2013.

It is not thought that Balotelli has had any sort of disagreement with Raiola and so it remains to be seen how the Italy international will respond to his employer’s request to leave the 46-year-old who has represented the striker since 2010.

Balotelli has made a total of 29 appearances in all competitions for the Diavolo this season and the former Manchester City man has scored 13 times.
